The Perigord Noir

The Perigord region is famous for food and wine, from black truffles, fois gras and Confit du Canard to fine wines and Walnuts!

Set in the heart of the Perigord, Pesset lies at the foot of Belves, a small medieval village with shops, restaurants, doctor and dentist. A short drive takes you to an excellent 'Intermarche', which is full of local produce, wine and cheese at very reasonable prices.

Full of traditional Perigordian specialties, the local markets make the villages of the Dordogne come alive. Nothing compares to buying fresh vegetables, meat & fish, cheese & wine from farmers and producers to cook for an evening meal.
